The Toyota Motor Company has just unveiled its novel technology for paint removal, hoping to get this service on the roads for its vast customer base by 2023. This technology will enable Toyota mechanics to literally “dress up” customers’ cars by stripping off the original paint job of the car. After this, the customer can choose the new color of their car from a palette of over 100 colors.

This new technology comes on the back of statistics that point out that people are retaining their vehicles for a longer number of years than before. With the arrival of this new technology, Toyota hopes to help people own cars for longer periods of time.

Now, drivers are looking to get the freedom of choosing their new color. This comes with expert mechanical help from technicians working to ensure no damage to the body of the car while the paint is stripped off.

KINTO, based in Nagoya and owned by Toyota, will be the company providing this new service for both individual car owners as well as other vehicles covered by Toyota’s subscription. Details for pricing of the service as well as possible locations for the KINTO outlets are being determined.

In a normal car stripping job, there are some specific stripping chemicals used to do the job. KINTO on the other hand uses high-velocity water spray, so that probable damage is avoided. Also, with this new paint job, your car will have excellent rain and wind protection when you are on the road.
