Singapore-Based Car Subscription Platform Carzuno Enters Thailand

In response to the widespread acceptance of its services in the city-state, Carzuno, a digital car subscription platform with headquarters in Singapore, has expanded its operations to Thailand.

Carzuno offers monthly packages for automobile subscription plans that are available for periods ranging from one to 24 months. The subscription fee covers the cost of the automobile, insurance, maintenance, taxes, and access to a 24-hour breakdown service hotline. The business stated that it will offer more than 50 models in Thailand, ranging from entry-level vehicles such as the Toyota Yaris to high-end vehicles such as Ferrari and Porsche, among others.

Cathrin Samijtiwong, who formerly worked for Servcorp and HappyFresh, and Wisate Kirin, a former executive of Michelin, Toyota, and Carro lead the platform’s local team in Thailand.  Carzuno also intends to establish alliances, increase its employee base, and provide more automobile alternatives in Thailand, including electric vehicles, in the future.

Hundreds of subscribers were registered by the firm in the first nine months of its existence, prompting the decision. The firm also claims to have the greatest selection of automobiles available online in Singapore through its rental partners, which include Avis and Sixt, according to the website.

Amrt Sagar, former executive at Uber and Grab, and Andrew Chan, who formerly worked at Hertz and ComfortDelGro, founded Carzuno in April 2021. Hustle Fund and Net Ventures invested a total of US$500,000 in the firm towards the end of last year, serving as pre-seed capital.
