CleverTap will have development centres and customer-facing and success teams in North America, Europe, Latin America, India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East after acquiring Leanplum. CleverTap, the world’s foremost retention cloud, announced today that it would acquire Leanplum, a multi-channel customer engagement platform based in San Francisco, for an undisclosed sum.

CleverTap will become a genuinely global corporation with development centres in North America, Europe, Latin America, India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This purchase will increase CleverTap’s customer base to over 1200 in 100 countries. The deal should close in 2Q2022.

CleverTap and Leanplum will assist digital firms in increasing user engagement, retention, and lifetime value by hyper-personalising user experiences at scale in real-time. As more businesses go digital-first, marketers must give exceptional moments anywhere, anytime, and on their preferred channel. CleverTap and Leanplum’s omni-channel engagement, analytics, and segmentation products now offer real-time hyper-personalisation, A/B testing, and scalability.
